Rocket Launch: High-Profile Board

The newly elected president of a leading women’s financial organization came in with a bold 2025 theme: Empowering the Future. She wanted to elevate engagement and growth—immediately.

We kicked off the year with a high-impact leadership session using the Collective Leadership Assessment™ to align 22 board members around shared values, strengths, and a bold vision for the year ahead.

“This was the best possible start to the year.”

Weeks later, she was named one of the Most Influential Women in Business by the San Francisco Business Times. Momentum matters.

Develop Rising Stars — Or Risk Losing Them

Six months ago, two high-performing associate directors were passed over for promotion. Both were deeply valued—smart, driven, high-potential leaders. But from the board’s perspective, they hadn’t yet demonstrated the leadership presence required for the next level.

To their credit, senior leadership didn’t let the moment pass. They recognized the risk of disengagement—or even departure—and brought me in to help.

We started with the Leadership Circle Profile® 360, gathering feedback from board members, the boss, peers, and direct reports. It gave us a clear picture: what was working and what wasn’t. Board feedback was parsed and aggregated so we had very direct insights on leadership expectations.

From there, we got to work. Coaching gave each leader a space to reflect, grow, and act with intention.

The result?

Both earned director-level promotions.

Valued talent retained ✓

The takeaway:

Don’t leave leadership development to chance. *Know what the board is looking for—and coach talent to rise and meet it.
